Linking and Social Media Sharing Policy


In the course of providing comprehensive service and information, the OESC website may provide links to content not controlled by OESC or the State of Oklahoma. No endorsement is intended or made of any link, product, service, or information either by its inclusion or exclusion from this portal.

OESC evaluates each requested link based upon the following criteria: 

  • The link/resource must contain information and services that relate to OESC’s target audiences and further the mission of providing a one-stop-shop for Oklahoma citizens and employers.

  • Sites linked to must be professional quality, and representative of a reputable source/entity.

  • Links/resources must NOT include:

    • Any non-government commercial sites with paid services or products,

    • Political affiliation sites,

    • Sites that further the agenda of a political organization or candidate running for office.

OESC is not responsible for the content of websites not controlled by the State of Oklahoma, nor does the state's privacy policy apply to external sites. The use of information obtained from such sites are voluntary and should be independently verified.


Social Media Sharing

OESC strives to create diverse, consistent, and engaging content on its social media pages. In doing so, OESC may at times share relevant external content that supports the mission and goals of OESC. No endorsement is intended or made of any link, product, service, or information either by its inclusion or exclusion from being shared online via OESC’s social media pages.

Content sharing request will be evaluated based upon the following criteria:

  • Resources must be currently available and relevant to OESC’s target audiences. They must be open access and free of any charges. OESC will not promote any paid products or services.

  • Events, such as job fairs, hiring events, or workshops, must be conducted at OESC field offices or done in partnership with OESC
    The event must be representative of multiple employers and job opportunities and be open to the general public

  • Individual job opportunities for a single employer will not be shared. For this function, we encourage employers to use our online job board at

OESC reserves the right to approve, deny, or remove any links, content, or posts if it is determined that the information provided is misleading, conflicts with any of OESC’s policies, or is not conducive to the mission of OESC.
